The Universe works in mysterious ways

Back in February 2020 when i was packing for six weeks in Australia with my parents i had no idea that i wouldn't be leaving Australia for many years. My parents left two weeks before me, leaving me with two weeks to cram in seeing as many of my friends as i could. I was fortunate that my flight was cancelled, rather than leaving me trapped in Dubai!! So i got lots of time with my friends in South East Queensland. A short visit to Cairns took my life in a different direction, and here I am in Love (not with Cairns weather though)... it will be interesting to see where life leads me next, but for now i am quite happy sitting still.

Olive Leaf Extract

It has long been known in Natural medicine that the Olive tree gives us amazing health. Usually ascribed to the power of the oil and the olives themselves. There may still be people who do not know that the strongest medicine comes from the leaves.
I personally take Olive Leaf extract on a daily basis, which stops me catching the Flu and Colds that take people down for weeks, especially at the change of season.
If I do feel myself coming down with something (usually due to missing out on a dose or two) I immediately start taking three doses a day, and any un-wellness soon passes.

Olive leaf Extract has been extensively studied over the last 10—15 years and there are lots of wonderful Scientific research articles on the topic. I have links to some at the bottom of this article.

Uses are proven for maintaining health, protecting from virus' including the HIV virus, and also in stopping cell mutation in some cancers. They contain many potentially bioactive compounds that have antioxidant, antihypertensive, antiatherosclerotic, anti-inflammatory, hypoglycemic, and hypocholesterolemic effects. The primary bio-actives contained in unprocessed olive leaf are believed to be the antioxidants oleuropein and hydroxytyrosol, plus several other flavonoids,  the most common group of polyphenolic compounds in the human diet. Olive leaf harbours antioxidant properties that help protect the body from the continuous activity of free radicals. Olive leaf extract is available in the form of  liquid concentrate, powder, capsules or dried leaf tea.

So for those who are strong willed and keen for being healthy, get yourself some liquid extract. If you are a little sensitive to taste try the capsules of crushed leaf. For a general health boost I definitely recommend Spearole tea, which mixes the light freshness of Spearmint with the Olive Leaf to create a balanced tea. A little strange at first you will soon find that it is the freshness in your morning and the calmness in the evening drink. Enjoy!!
